Michael Young did not come to Colorado Springs to start a window company. He has been here his whole life. Born and raised in the shadow of Pikes Peak, Michael grew up in Manitou Springs, graduated from Manitou Springs High School, and spent his formative years in the kind of tight-knit community where your reputation is everything.
After high school, Michael entered the window and door industry and spent more than a decade learning the trade from the ground up. He installed windows. He measured openings. He saw firsthand what separates a quality installation from a quick one. He worked for other companies and watched how the big outfits operated: high-pressure sales tactics, subcontracted install crews who rushed through jobs, and warranty claims that went nowhere.
He knew Colorado Springs deserved better. Michael started Dream Windows and Doors because he believed this city needed a premium window company run by someone who actually lives here.
